My 67 barracuda starts fine when cold, but restarts after it warms up are a challenge. I have to hold down the throttle and try numerous cranks before she fires up. The motor is a 69 318,edelbrock intake, 600 cfm carb, small cam, stocks heads, hei ignition. Once fired, she runs ok.

Any ideas?

The fuel may be percolating. A carb spacer may ne needed. I have a new 2" Mr gasket spacer for $20 plus the ride if you are interested.

Short version is that Edlebrock carbs heat soak really easy.
Insulating spacers, and heat blocking products help quite a bit, but most of us Eddie users just end up living with some percentage of this same issue.

Thanks, forgot to mention it has a 3/8" spacer.

Could it be a float issue? The carb is a 1405.

I think 2" might be a bit much. I just ordered a 1" spacer from summit, hopefully it will help some.
