HARNESS WRAP

Been using plating tape from WW Grainger for some time for wiring harness wrap. Can't tell the difference just ordered some more and thought I would pass it on available in several widths and you won't believe the price TAPECASE Plating Tape, Tape Backing Material Vinyl, Tape Adhesive No Adhesive, Tape Thickness 4.0 mil - 15D678|15D678 - Grainger

Is that stuff the same as the stuff I use for wiring....linerless tape (Home depot). It has no adhesive but it adheres to itself really, really good. When you remove it it doesn't leave that sticky electrical tape glue behind. I hate electrical tape, especially when you to remove it to do trouble shooting and then you get your hands covered in black sticky crap!!

I believe both are pretty thick and if it's what I think it is you have to stretch it in order for it to bond to itself may also attract debris use it to wrap split bolt wire connectors
