A friend of mine has a 71 Demon with old ratty bench seats. We just got a 74 Duster parts car with fresh bucket seat upholstery, but it has a fold down rear seat. We're looking for advice from anyone who has done it or seriously contemplated it.

What surprises would lurk if a person were to try to adapt the Duster fold down rear seat to fit the Demon? (the entire Duster is available for parts swapping)

Serious answers please :coffee2:
Thanks in advance!

No, but I have thought about it a few times myself also....

I bet it could be done if you adapt the "mounting pads" from the original car that the seats came from.

Greg someone has done this .i'll see if i can find the thread,Lawrence

Not exactly the same, but I've swapped an early Barracuda rear fold down seat into my 65 Dart wagon. Looks like it was made for it.

I'm planning install a Dodge Neon rear seat in my Dart. I'll upload pics very soon.
