I picked up a small block adjustable rocker set from a guy and they are stamped (Dove). I have never heard of this brand and I assume someone else made them and they put their name on them.

If you sell them, I'd like to be first in line.

I remember them making the rocker arms for MP in the early years before crane. Old stuff right there.

I will probably be using them on my motor but if I don't I will let you know. I assume they are 1.5 and were made before 1.6's were available since I don't see any other markings on them.

There are ways to measure them, depending manufacture, the ratio might be measured differently. Otherwise put them on the motor and check at the retainer for a change in lift. Keep in mind lift will probably increase even if it is still 1.5 because they will be a more accurate ratio compared to loose factory rockers @1.45

According to their website they come in both 1.5 and 1.6 made in U.S.A. too cost $407.00 new..

It's going to be a while before they ever get used since I'm stocking up on stuff to build the motor which I'm in no rush for. My other car is at the body shop and this car is a "future" builder

I quit paying attention to them years ago because they had dropped out it seemed, this to me is a come back.lol

They make some steep claims to hold up to:

HIGH PERFORMANCE ALUMINUM ROLLER-TIP ROCKER ARMS AND STUDS GUARANTEED AGAINST BREAKAGE FOR LIFE !!!!!

Dove, the worlds largest manufacturer of roller rocker arms is available under many brand names since 1978. The body design shape is the result of 30 years of constant development. The current design has been used in several million stud mounted rockers with NO FAILURES!!! The Dove rocker utilizes ULTRA STRONG DOVE 7000 series aluminum, which possesses the distinction of having the highest notch strength of all aluminum alloys. This is especially important in a rocker arm. A rocker arm is nothing more than an ongoing notch test. The Dove design has proven more durable than the more expensive steel rocker arms. This has been proven over and over again by Boat Racers and Endurance applications such as Stock Car Racing, ETC. ETC. !!!

My friend has a set he has used in about 6 engines he has built for drag racing. They have held up good and are still working fine.

I was just searching some and it kinda sounds like new Dove rockers are Indy rockers. I'm just relying what I just read. Hard to say about older ones, more research would be required. They claim to make many brands though as you can see.

The claim for no broken rockers applies to stud mounted rockers not shaft mpunted ones.

Notice the "current design part". That's a loophole so they don't have to claim previous failures.

Here is another Quote.

I wonder how many previous designs there are????

Odds are they will probably hold up on a street engine without any issues though.

IIRC Hughes Engines used Dove rocker arms until they switched several years ago.If that is the case I have had a set on it's second BB for going on 15+ years.
