I have been workin on the rear of the ol' duster and I think I would be better off replacing the whole floor rather than piece it together but new floors are out of my league. Has any one ever made one before? My spare tire part is rotted as is several spots on the flat parts and there is alot of heavy scale and I was thinking I could get a flat piece and have a few beads rolled where the factory put them and weld it in. I have a good spare tire section from my parts car that I could weld in once the flat piece is in. I was just wanting some opinions on what you guys would do?

I think your on the right track if you have a good donor. If the flat part is solid enough to weld just patch in donor, and Por 15 everything when done.:happy10:

I have a decent used one...40 plus shipping sound fair? it has some rust around one of the body plugs and a few pinholes in same area circled in the pic otherwise solid.
