Has Anyone Ever Seen This Dart Swinger Hat?

Went to an indoor swap meet at the International Center by the Toronto Airport today and bought this hat.

I've never seen one of these hats anywhere and the guy selling this one said there were only 5 made by Choko.

Was this guy feeding me B.S?

Have any other fello FABOers ever seen one?

It's a brand new hat, but made to look worn.

I bought a Dodge Performance Division hat and US Airforce hat a while ago they both have the same distressed look on the brim.

Must be the latest fad in hats.

The distressed look on hats have been around for years now.

Even my favorite beat to hell sweat stained hat doesn't have holes in it like that. Pre-worn/distressed stuff is pretentious, an attempt to have a slovenly look to demonstrate indifference to the opinion of others. Not all of my clothes are new and unfaded, yet I strive to tuck in my shirts, wear a belt, keep my gig line straight and iron my clothes that need it.

If the hat were not pre-destroyed, I'd like it.

They probably made 5 hundred or thousand.. cool hat, happy you bought it.

It's possible. I know Choko use to make apparel for Mopar and I know some items don't always get produced. They make a small run of items to show Mopar/Chrysler and most gets the No... They really only push the current product line, anything Jeep and very rarely you'll see a Hemi or classic Mopar item.

IS it 1 of 5 ever made? No one knows except Choko. Maybe send them a message or call and ask what the product number is? Say you want to purchase another.

That's a great idea. I'll do that.

I didn't realize that Choko is fairly local to me, so I'll send them an email and see what they say.

I'm just curious because I've never seen another one, on-line or at any Mopar event or swap meet. And I'm always on the look out for cool Mopar stuff, especially Dart Swinger.
