Three Mopars.
MUST BE 60's - 70's vintage.
One A body,
One B/E body,
And one truck
Pros- check any box on all three with unlimited perches budget.
Cons- (if there really is any)
These are now your three main cars/truck. With the exception of maybe a kid in the house that needs a safe air bagged car. (Or in my case a beater he can kill and it won't tick me off)
Choose careful... You might need one for good gas mileage? I said unlimited perches budget, NOT unlimited fuel and maintenance. Likely be able to take all three to any car/truck show, but you might want one for that heavy right foot? Does at least the truck need to be a 4×4? Also the only thing that can be changed from stock is the tires and shocks.
Remember unlimited- hemi's to /6, mod top's? Air grabbers. Whatever was available that year. Fuel injected hemi? Careful again, your wife has to comfortably commute year round in one.
For wife- 71 Cuda 340 auto, ac, electric everything (loaded), colors and trim to her liking.
73 powerwagon 360 auto, club cab long bed loaded with everything.
I'll do some research and get back before I make my A body choice. This will have to be the one that makes my right foot happy.
I think my Nissan truck is maybe one of 4 or 5 economy vehicles I've owned in my life. It's for sale... I can't remember a vehicle perches where economy was a big concern. Not that I haven't enjoyed the benefits of economic vehicles, it's just "for me" always worth the gas.
Just a Daydream thread....

Ma Mopar is opening her doors of the secret preserve parts (containing one of EVERY part from 1960 to 1980) you will be able to fill out three of any check list that was offered at any continental factory dealership from the timeframe.

I'm currently doing almost exactly that.

A body for the wife ?

Could be. But really just a nice little semi-economical "grocery-getter" that anyone could drive.
As much as I would want a 69 RR, or a GTX with a grabber hood- mod top, hang ten interior, ect... I just see how much my wife likes the early cuda's and challenger's. It would be bigger and more safe. That's my reason for my choices, but that gal of mine I know could easily fall in love with a peppy little stick shift convertible. She had a mini Cooper when we met. She'll likely have a Mopar til the Lord asks for me. LOL

Only three? And was this supposed to be an exercise in imagination?

I’d play but it’d be too hard to figure out which 6 I’d sell to get down to only 3. :p

I was wondering if people would pick a trail duster over a truck. I assume an open payload would be a job for a trailer?
