Im got a line on a car, and wondering how hard/$$$ is it to ship to Calif. main land . thanks !

Not hard at all as long as the paper work is in order and the cars runs. Probably around a grand now. It has been a long time since I checked.

Aloha

cool...any company names or numbers you could suggest ? thanks !

Here is some info from the local moparshawaii.com board.

"I've now done 5 shipments with Horizon. My new pickup came without a scratch, RR went to and from the mainland two years ago with no problems. Last one last month cost me $1072. Horizon ships in a closed container, Matson does not. I think its about an extra $50 and well worth not having salt crusted on your car when it gets to the other end. Paperwork is easy and you make an appointment instead of standing in line. They've never given me any trouble so I highly recommend them (I've always gone to and from Tacoma). I don't have a login to FABO (and don't need one) so you can pass this along."

man some good mopar peeps on the Islands..good to know...any interesting shows there ? T -shirts ? like a Hemi Dart cruzin on a surf board ?

also what about NO RUNS...seems most of the time a good deal is a work in progress..a NO RUN..any one ever shipped a NO RUN ?

NO RUN = big $$$$$ You'd have to get a container...big dollars...

well, I've never see a hemi dart surf...but I've seen 71 Hemi cuda and others with a board in it! LOL

Another source was suggested on our local board.

"Look up Pasha hawaii, it goes on a big ferry. All the new cars on the dealership, boats, construction equipment go on the ferry its pretty sweet. I shipped my truck that way and it came out fine. They didnt care that the e-brake didnt work either. Cuz they ratchet strap it down on all 4 corners, and i believe the floors are adjustable to the height of the vehicle. Just thought i would give my 2 cents."
