Hi guys i have a 360 magnum SB and aluminium edelbrock Stage 3 heads with Arp bolt, and i need the torque Specs please for the head bolts

Thx Peter

oh snap you're right never mind. I dint see the "aluminum" never mind. I thought this was for iron heads. what is it with you and waiting for one, rustyratrod? I don't know what you do for fun in Georgia, but that's not how we operate here. lol.

arp says 100 ft lbs..and make no mention of type of head.

type in your kit number...but 3602 and 3605 had the same torque valve of 100 ft lbs...which are based off the bolt size...

Torqued my eddy headed 340 to 100 ft lbs w/ fel pro 1008 head gaskets and have had no issues.

The values are different if using 30 weight oil or ARP Lube.

Your bolts come with washers?

those values are with arp lube...

Following the manufacturers recommended torque sequence tighten the bolts
in three equal steps to
100
ft lbs
with ARP ULTRA-TORQ
UE FASTENER ASSEMBLY LUBRICANT.

Ah hell just run um down with an impact.

Thx for your answer guys, my bolts came with washer, and i use the 1008 felpro gasket, so i will tightem to 100ft lbs, that means tighting them in 3 steps until im on 100ft lbs right?

thx Peter

The stock spec for iron heads is 105, so I think 100 is plenty sufficient, yes. But make sure to use the washers, lub the bolts good and also lube the washers there the bolt heads contact them.
