Head rest ?

Im in the process of restoring my 67 gt front bucket seats , I noticed the frames have the two small holes in top of the back frames.. has anyone added 68/9 uper headrests to 67 frames??? Seems strange they would have the pervisions ( holes ) for headrests in 67 ?? Definitely 67 original seat covers and from a all original 67 gt convertible?? It lqqks like i can order new headrests and hardware so would love to add them to the buckets if possible ?? Tia... ink

Head rest were an option in 67. You could get drivers only, pass only or both

There is a kit you need to buy to retrofit the seat to accept head rests. The 67 headrest is unique one year only. They changed dramatically in 68. Iirc the rod of and the spacing is different 67 to 68.

You probably could move the hole spacing on 67 if it needed to be moved and then adapt the hardware. Or just recreate the 67's from scratch.
