Headlight Plug 1966 Dart?

Took the ground wire terminal out of the plug today, why is it round for a blade headlight? Thanks

Is there a pin on the headlight bucket? All the wires are hooked up to the socket to run the light.

As long as the headlight works you're good to go.

They always worked, I guess the blade slides on the outside. I am going to change the plug out anyways, it looks like it needs it , just old and dirty...

I had to replace the emergency flasher plug on my 66 cuda and it was that way also. Not really the best connection, so I changed to the gm style connector.
