I know i saw a thread on what was needed for the headliner installion but cant seem to find it now. I have a 70 swinger, already purchased the headliner years ago. I will be taking it to the upholstry shop next week to have it installed. I just dont want to forget any parts. I know I will need the Headliner/sail panel boards/sunvisors/rear view mirror/dome light/ and bows. Im also guessing i might need the rear window inside trim and the trim that runs along the tops of the doors? Is there anything else i need??

Also the guy at the shop asked me to lay the headliner material out since it has been in a box for several years. There are lots of seems in it from being folded. Is there a good way to get rid of the seems? I dont want to ruin the material but want to end up with the best job possible. thanks for any input

there are clips that the bows slip into also there are clips on the outside and under the inner roof trim covers that help keep it tight .

I would think that steam/moisture from a hot shower might do the trick with the creases.

The material should be snake bite perferated vinyl. They all have those creases. Your installer will use heat and/or steam gun to remote the wrinkles and creases.
