Headliner replacement

Hi FABO...Will I be able to replace the broken and deteriorated cardboard headliner in my '74 Scamp with a fabric type. Will headliner bows from other years work?

With enough ingenuity anything will work, but it is not made to use bow style headliners. I have the same thing in my Dart. I am going to take it out and try furnace tape repair and then a vinyl covering. It all depends on how it comes out of the car.

There's always the ABS option. One could have it vinyl covered to match the interior. I'd imagine it would work out pretty well.

my buddy took his out of his dart sport and sprayed it with glue and put some cloth he got from a fabric store on it and it looks as nice as any headliner I have seen,,if you didn't know he did it you would swear it came from the factory like that sweet looking job
