Hey everyone, i have a question about the 302 and 308 small block heads, are these the swirl port heads found on 90 and 91 engines? also they say they are about as good of a performance head as an X or J head due to better combustion chambers even with the 192 valves?:book:Thanks

Really? Is that your question?

There is this HyperLink in the top center of the FABO Graphic Header...visualized as the word SEARCH.

Click on that word "search" and type in Swirl Port or 302 308 cylinder heads, and read some of the threads on the subject.

302' casting "swirl port" 318 heads were on anything 318 powered from 1985-1992....Dodge Diplomat's, Chrysler 5th avenue's, Plymouth Furys, Dodge D100/150's, and B100/B150's.

308' casting 360 heads were ONLY on 1988-1991 Dodge D250 trucks, B250 Vans, and 4x4 Ramchargers.

These SB heads have advantages, but they are NOT the answer to everyones Hp goals.

In addition, the 308 is nota swirl port head.

The MoPars engine book explains these basic questions you have.
