Heater box interchange (need to know what to look for)

I have a 1969 Dodge dart. Need a non a/c heater box. What years will work?

So it looks like 67-72 boxes will work. Is there any differences year to year?

On my 70 duster some heater boxes where set up for a 3 bolt fan and some where 4 bolt fans.I got the wrong one the first time.Do not know if darts are the same

I have a box with cables if your looking and also a 67 switch

3 bolt fans are 73 and up non a/c ....
67 to 72 non a/c will be 4 bolt

I have the opportunity to buy a 1967 heater box assembly with the switch. If I had both it would work? its kinda busted up but anything can be fixed.

Mine isn't busted up but the rivets pulled through for the door which is a simple fix.

The controllers mount in the dash differently too. 68 controller mounts with 2 bolts outer ends. 67 has the left bolt tucked in between the fan switch and blend levers. Even the 2 slots in the dang bezel a different length. The 67 levers pivot so they would crash into your 68 bezel. 67 really is one year only. But... Do what you want to make it work I guess.
