heater delete general questions

And here's my block off plate with remote filter mounted to it. Don't freak out, I have another.

The Puerto rican car in the pic has it wrong, the flat side faces down.

I have owned 7 Dusters starting from 1984..... of course none heater delete but the blower motor ring flat spot has always been at the 3 o'clock position(facing the firewall)

But I have seen many other ways, I'm sure some have taken them off and replaced them differently but for those that were not I've always assumed that the assembly line worker chose to put it which ever way he wanted
