Heater hose bracket location

What is the correct location for this bracket, under the alternator bolt, or next to it with a separate bolt? The separate hole almost positions the bracket to close to the intake manifold water inlet fitting, and would appear to put the heater hose in quite a bind.

I think it goes at a bolt hole we cant see in the pick. Radius cut in the side to clear alt' pivot post.
Someone will corect me if I'n wrong. Wont be the first time

Yep. You've almost got it. Flip it over. The radius cut is to clear the alternator pivot.
