sure am i like my distrubator but want to run hei type wires

You can get a whole electronic distributor with built-in HEI for ~$45 on ebay. Several vendors, search "Mopar HEI". That is the only way I know to get male posts on the cap and you can greatly simplify your wiring (no ballast or external box).
