Just wanted to check in and say hi. I have been lurking here for a while, but time to speak up.
My 15yo son and I are doing a 68 Barracuda fastback project. Brought it home in totes, and boxes, but a very solid car with most of the body work done.
We also picked up a 68 440HP complete engine. The engine needs rebuilding, so I think a 512" will fit the bill.
We are just about done scraping the factory undercoating off, and will be ready to start welding in the US Car Tool chassis stiffening kit, along with an 8pt roll cage. We have planned to do a restomod restoration with this car. My son is very dedicated to this project so far with his time and money.
