Hello i'm Franco from Argentina and i own a 1967 slant six-powered Valiant 4 (my first car ever), which is actually a 66 dart, but here it was called valiant 4, its in process now but its going pretty slow, first thing i did to him was rebuild the engine (it has a holley 2300 350cfm, 9 to 1 comp, short headers, bigger valves, and its overbored to 0.030, and a mopar-purple-244-like cam), front supension, brakes and steering, now im going for transmission, drivetrain and rear end, and last but not less important, body work, but theres a long way before it enters the bodyshop, im a member of a dodge/mopar only forum from argentina (you should take a look its pretty good! www.dodge-tech.com.ar/vb), enough talking, heres some pics so you can see it, hope you like it!.

Welcome Franco, pretty nice looking Dart, err! Valiant there! Is that actually the brand name (Like "Dodge" or "Plymouth") and the model name being "4"?

Thank you!, yes Valiant was the brand name and 4 the model, 61 to 63 valiant 1 and 2 (60-62 Plymouth valiant), 64 to 66 valiant 3 (63-66 dart), 66 to 68 valiant 4 (1966 dart), valiant later became dodge, from 68 on to 79, and they started to build argentinian-designed dodges only such as the dodge gtx, polara rt, coronado, etc.
But nothing can beat an american-designed a body!, thats why i like valiants here a little more than argentinian dodges hehe.
Thank you for the welcome!.

Please make yourself at home and post pics of your mods/progress. We love them :thumbrig:.

Sweet car you have there, don't ever let your 1st car get away, I still have mine too :glasses7:

Thank you all for the welcome!, and be sure that will keep you up to date with the resto (you gotta have a little patience to see the car finished, because its going reeeaally slooow lol)!.

Thank you for the welcome Ian!, Dodge-tech is a argentinian-fabo-wannabe-dodge forum and we have a section called "paserela" were users post pictures of their mopars (http://www.dodge-tech.com.ar/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=76) theres a pretty decent variety of cars there, most of em argentinian.
Here in this 2 threads a user posted a decent amount of pics of two of our yearly reunions: http://www.dodge-tech.com.ar/vb/showthread.php?t=42007 http://www.dodge-tech.com.ar/vb/showthread.php?t=42606 .
Hope you enjoy em!.

Cool. The same but different. I love some of the paint jobs and the barbeque made me smile. I also like to see young folks driving these cars..

Our Duster would stand out there but fades in with a group of Mopars here.

Funny, during our recent trip to Havana, we met a lot of Argintiniams... we talked about everything but cars.. On our next trip, I'll fix that :)

The dodge-tech's forum was born in 2004, a group of friends made this website . We move around the country, going to festivals and barbecue . In the last year, we did go to rojas, a village at 100 of miles away downtown of Buenos Aires.
I think that i will come to usa some time and visit your mopars. We Love the "dodge charguer" and "plymouth road runner"!!!
