Well my name is John, I've been a member of FEBO for a while now. I'm restoring my 71 Challenger, Yesterday I picked up this little number for my wife, a 71 Demon. They're both base model cars but we don't care it's a blank canvas to us. After decoding the fender tag, it's saying my demon was a 225 /6 car GB5 blue car. I thought the 225 was released in 72 I guess I will have to pull up the build date I didn't look at that close enough. and just for fun here's a couple photos of the demon, the two of them together and my challenger when i bought it

Welcome to FABO, John!
The 225 came out in the mid '60s, and was a common engine for all a-bodies.......
The fifth digit in your V.I.N. should be a ''C'' if it's a 225 originally.

Yes I knew the 225 has been around, I must have read bad information, everything I saw on the demon said for 71 demon had the 198 /6 and in 72 it went to the 225, doesn't matter though probably going with a 340 or 360 build for it, depending on what the wife wants out of her
