MY340,what`s up!Glad to see you found this site.Just joined a few months ago,I digging it here. Are you going to the Borgia show?I`m hoping on taking the Dart over for it`s first show
Not too many I would think as sunroofs weren't real popular back in them days. The fold down rearseat was probably put in about 10-15% of all 73 Dusters. There were alittle over 2000 340-4spd cars produced that year. If I had to guess I would say around 20-30 maybe optioned similiar to mine. There was 1 or 2 others optioned like mine in the GG Registry when I registered mine. There were another 5-6 automatic cars then also.
One thing some people think is you had to get the vinyl roof option to get the sunroof. This isn't true on A-bodies as I have seen a couple others without it also. I believe all B & E body sunroof cars may have had vinyl tops but I'm not positive. My fendertag reads TB3/TB3 for the body & top which is Basin Street Blue.
Whoever ordered it definitely wanted something alittle different than the normal plain jane Duster.
i own a 1973 plymouth duster 340,w/manual sunroof, rear defroster, fold down rear seat, car is really nice but i am in need of the weather stripping for the sunroof if anybody can help please let me know
