My 71 Duster came with a foot pump washer system.

Now since i'm rewiring the car a-z i might be a good idea to go with a electric pump.

I wanted to know how were the button or switch, what it look like and were its located on the dashbord?

Anyone have a picture? Worth a thousand words :)

The washer switch is built into the wiper switch on cars with electric washers. Just push in on the wiper knob.

Easy if you have/get the correct wiper switch. It should have a terminal marked "W" (I recall), which sits fairly far from the others. You also need one that matches your wiper motor. Most were simple 2-speed. The variable-speed wipers had a much bigger wiper switch. You can find photos here and on e-bay.

One thing that confuses people on the wiper switches is that Mopar used the switch as a convenient terminal to connect 12 V power to other devices. Just follow the wiring diagram and don't worry about "why is my wire for ___ going to the wiper switch?"
