help identify a carb

i found a carburator in the garbage a few months ago. it says 6212S on it and i looked that up and it said it said it was a marine thermoquad. so i posted it on craigslist as that. then i got some guy emailing me telling me its not. i just want to sell it and make a quick dollar but its hard when your not sure what it is or what cfm it is. anyway heres my craigslist link with some pictures.

That is a marine Carter carb from a 340, may not be the best for the street? It is not a Thermoquad, looks like an AFB to me.
