Help identify this 4 speed , please

ok, here is the numbers on the driver side of the trans. c-99386
UF
on the tails shaft is looks like a screwhead 0 22 2 then another screwhead looking thing

passenger side on the vin boss is 2e532848
pp833 3982
below it is c99129H

and on the passenger side tail is c99126-2


any help. all is appreciated

Sorry I can't be of much help with a manual trans. but you might try posting this in the 4 spd. forum. It's about a half page down on the main page,

Yeah you can't move threads. You have to ask a mod to move it. Or you could just make a new thread in the 4 spd. section.

Most of those numbers with the "c" prefix are casting numbers used at the foundry and not part numbers. the 0 22 2 is a build date for this trans, october 22, 1972 (novemder=A, DEC=B) the pp833 indicates it is an a-833 trans, I'm lost on the pp part. Best ID info is visual. Long tailshaft with (2) shifter mounting places cast in (one may not be finish drilled, but bosses will be there) indicates a B/E/C body trans. Short tailshaft with only one shifter mounting position indicates an A body trans. 1" OD by 23 spline input shaft is all other than HEMI/6PAK cars. 1" OD by 18 spline is all HEMI. Hope this helps.
