Got most of the issues figured out on my son's 1964 Barracuda, but it's not running great. I'm thinking about trying some seafoam first, but if I need to rebuild the carb I was looking for a kit. Looks like it was a Carter re-manufactured by Holley?

It runs but not great. Doesn't idle well and stumbles on hitting the gas even in park. I've noticed there should be two different carburetors depending on whether it's standard or automatic. This was a conversion from standard to and auto transmission, so I'm wondering if that's why it's not performing well. I typically see where at least idle speed is higher on an auto.

Any tips?

Carter BBD two barrel. Good for a slant six or 318.

To further complicate the confusion, there actually WERE carbs that were cross MANUFACTURED, not rebuild as this one. "I about crapped" one time when someone rolled into the tune-up bay with a CARTER built Quadrajet on an OEM GM of some kind
