Hi Guy's

I am after some infomation.

I have a 360/727 combo & have been told that a 904 will lower my ET at the strip.

What do I have to do to fit a 904 to my 360 ???

My main concern is the external balance crank & the stall converter.

Please enlighten me.

Thanks Gra

yes..my experience with switching from a 727 to a 904, I picked up .15 and 2 mph.

you will need 904 trans...new converter...and longer driveshaft...

904 and 727 do not share the same converter ...

and you might need a new flexplate for the externally balanced crank.

Aren't the flex plates the same??? I can't see any difference in them.

Do I need to get the 904 converter balanced to match the external balanced crank??? Or does it just bolt straight on???

I did have a 273/904 combo in this car before I still have the drivesharft & transmission but I will need to get a higher stall as the stall I have for the 904 is 2200rpm.

Thanks for the info
