Help! SBP to BBP and need help finding BBP Drums

I finally got the drums today but they do not fit. It is very tight going over the pads. Just an FYI

Thanks for the update. Besides being tight on the pads how did the fit backing plate clearance. Pictures?

I got them to work but I had to shrink the self adjusters to its shortest length

So did they fit and work correctly? Please post some pictures because if they are correct there is no reason why we may be able to redrill them for the small bolt pattern. They might need a ring to if the center hub is smaller on the sbp.

Damn, that sure looks good. Are the shoes riding in the correct place?

The Shoes feel like they are - they are very tight to turn

Since you had trouble sliding them on, the binding is probably at the diameter. Can't do much more than have a 10.000"ID on the drum. A lot of people have had tight drums after a rebuild, when using factory parts. It seems some replacement self-adjusters are a bit too long. You might file the slots in the shoes slightly to compensate. You could also just drive around slowly, applying the brakes, and see if they loosen up after initial seating. If not, don't drive far or they will quickly over-heat your whole rear-end.
