Hi FABO,
I have a Mallory 250 pump (pn 29269), looking for suggestions on filters (before pump and after regulator) and regulator. I have a Mallory regulator (pn 29386), but it's -6, and the pump is -8- would that effectively bottleneck my system down to -6, or would it be ok to run? I'm of the belief that I should be running -8 the whole way- maybe I'm mistaken. Please advise.
Mallory recommends their 4200 or 4300 regulators to compliment the 250 pump, but it seems they are no longer available. I know there are plenty of quality pieces out there, so hoping for some recommendations. Don't care the brand, just looking to do it right and get the good stuff.
This will be feeding my IMM built 414" 590hp/520tq. 65 Dart, street/strip, Cope RMVB 904/4.10.
While I'm at it- any opinions on return line from the regulator vs. pump?
I appreciate any help, and for christs sake, take it easy on me as I'm trying to learn!
