Its certainly a carb I've never seen before! I've never seen so many electrical plugs on a carb lol

That looks just like a carb I had on a Chevy Luv pickup many years ago.
The silinoids are anti-backfire and such.
The most difficult carb I ever rebuilt. Just finding a kit for it was a challenge back then.

Possibly off a D-50, very familiar I know I have rebuilt a few of those. More then likely only suited for the scrap now, if it was removed it must have an issue.

Mabey. Its clean inside and out. But for 5-10 bucks it came with a chrome oil dipstick for a small block : )
