With all this discussion I have had regarding the heads I want to use for my stroker 400, what is the possibility of using the Hemi head conversion? Do the RB Hemi Heads fit the B? If so, do they take the same intake as a B engine or do I need a special intake for Hemi Heads? I think it would be cool to have a big inch Hemi in my Duster :D

Contact Stage V engineering. They make Hemi conversion heads for B/RB wedge engines. You'll also need a Hemi intake for a B-engine due to the different intake port layout and lower deck height.

i thought they were not doin street stuff anymore.. suposedly their just working on T/F cyl. heads.

Well, I did a google search, but it looks like they are not in business at all any more :( Apparantly, their site hasn't been updated since '02, so it's not looking like I will be doing a Hemi conversion :(

Anyway...I guess I'm leaning toward the Edelbrock heads for now.

Thanks for the input.

I heard once years ago, with very little mods, you can make the HEMI head work on a B/RB block.
somethin about not using the bolts that go into the head from the valley(?), clearancing the pushrod guides(?).
i could be dead wrong tho... never-the-less.. worth a shot to investigate it.
or was that a G1 hemi head on a poly engine? hmmm......
