I'm rebuilding a 904 transmission in my '66 Valiant. Are these things that I could possibly need/use?

Not unless you have an 8.75 already or are planning to shorten another 8.75 rear to fit these axles. That is the cheapest way to get an 8.75 A rear for sure.
