Here we go again...Demon style.

Well, the weather has broke and it's go time!! Been working on the doors, trunk lid, and hood. Doors and trunk lid are super close to being done. The bottom of the hood is ready for paint just need to work on the top side. There has been lots of priming and, sanding. To keep the motivation high I went ahead and sprayed the hood hinges and hood latch brace. Seeing color keeps ya motivated...lol

Thanks!! I'm also very excited to see this thing in color. This is the cleanest car I have ever started with so it should be the best outcome in the end. The owner is a good friend of mine so, it better be nice...lol. I hoping to be painting the body in 3 weeks or so.
 
Not much photographic stuff to report lately just a lot of blocking and primer......blocking and primer....blocking and primer. Finally got the doors ready to go so, shot the black on the backs of them this evening and, the inner sail panels. Hoping to be painting the whole car in the next couple weeks.

Little more painting tonight. Now that this stuff is painted on the bottom they will go in storage for now. The body comes back tomorrow, it's really close to being ready so, I will block it again and see where I left off last fall.

Shell is back. Going to block it out for hopefully the last time..seal it up and hopefully be painting in 2 weeks. The goal is to have it painted before my wife and I go on vacation July 1st.

Car is jammed...on pace to hopefully paint on Saturday morning. It's gonna be a long night tomorrow night to get everything done before paint day but, I think we can do it...

Thanks!! I'm just doing body and paint. I'm sure I will assist in some of the assembly since he is a friend of mine so I will try and keep some pictures coming as that process unfolds.
