holeshot drags

I'm gonna run my Valiant at the Holeshot (100 ft) Drags w/ the 225. Gonaa go through the engine and give mild upgrades. What rear end and gears should I run?

i was thinking 3.91 or 4.11's Its gotta be street legal, and I'll have to drive to + from the track. Do you think the 7 1/4 rear could handle it?

Heck I am all stock /170 66 Valiant and run a 12 sec 1/8 mile. I am guessing a 5.0 if you catch a good light and not spin much :thumrigh:

You can get 4.11's for a 7 1/4?? I'd run an 8 3/4 with low 5's for gear. Sure grip of course and the softest compound tire I could find. Add a high stall convertor, 3500 or so should do it, and have fun!
