I just won this Holley list 6210-3 1545 on Ebay.
I used the same carb on my 318 in my 71 Dart 10yrs ago and am going to use this one on my 318 that's going in my Valiant.

Can I make this a center hung float/ dual feed carb by putting the proper bowls, floats, feed line on it?
Also, would I have to change the metering blocks with this mod?

Going to buy a Quick Fuel Kit #3-206 rebuild kit for now.

All suggestions and help are appreciated!!

A double-pumper spreadbore on a 318? Isn't that overkill?

yeah you can use double pumper float bowls just make sure you use that 50 cc accelerater pump stuff from the rear float bowl.actually pretty good mod gets rid of that transfer tube and makes the carb look huge.....

Ive tried this and with the parts that I have the accelerator pump holes on the bowls dont line up with the holes on the metering block. If you put the spreadbore and squarebore gaskets on top of each other you can see how far off they are. I have a vacuum secondary spreadbore also but haven't check the bowls yet.

There were spread bore center hung float bowls by holley years ago ,but haven't seen them in a long time . I have made this rebuild on my 6210 and still have it on the shelf , one of the best carbs I have had .

It wasn't last time I used one. Got 12-14mpg. And it ran perfectly. Could boil the tires from a 20mph roll with 3:55 gear and 26in tires.

I tuned the carb once in the 3 years I ran it. And, I actually had to jet it up for the 318.

Found the fuel bowl conversion number in an old holley book ,for model 4165 on GM applications , part No. 34-4 [85R-4893] . for model 4165 on chrysler applications part No. 34-5 [85R-5087] . These are old numbers let us know if you can still order them.

Searched the Holley site and ran a search on ebay but came up empty handed.
Newer style DP bowls/metering blocks won't work??

those were old numbers , I don't think the new bowls will work. If they work on the model 4150 and 4160 they won't work on the model 4165 and 4175 , like 71demonbill said the accelerator holes are different
