Just got my new street avenger carb and was looking at the linkage. Just curious, does anyone know what what the circled bracket is for? I've never seen that before on a Holley carburetor. I'm assuming it's probably for a specific application?

That is the kick down lever for Ford kick down linkage.

One more question for you guys. I've never seen one of these fancy new vacuum secondary housings. Isn't there supposed to be a screw where the arrow is for a manual choke??? I'm planning on wiring the choke open with a piece of coat hanger, but was wondering why they didn't include a screw like on the older ones.

Yes. It is supposed to have a screw there. Maybe they didn't include it because they didn't include the choke cable kit? I think all that comes in the kit.
