I am the original owner of a Holley Strip Dominator intake. The only grinding has been to gasket match it which was done by me, nothing else. Excellent condition, all threads good, no cracks or modifications. I also have with it a Holley 750 DBL pumper that was reworked by Holley engineer Chuck Gulledge set up for 8" of idle vacuum. Carb works great and I installed new gaskets and did a cleaning when I installed on my new 340. The carb made 550 Hp and 500 Tq on a 372 LA bracket motor with a Victor intake. Moved to the country and running 3:23 gears now in a different car and 340 engine combo so I can go to town to club meetings and cruises. Combo way to big for those gears and mtr. Bought an Edlebrock Air Gap and going to run a Holley vacuum 750 to see how that works. Fuel line and thermostat housing stays with me.
