A while back I made a post for pics of bench seat four speeds. The pics I got gave me a good impression of how the shifter looks like, so I was able to make my own out of stainless steel, including the reverse lock-out feature.

here are some pics to show the result. All it needs is a little polishing.

Good Job :thumbrig: I see another great fabricator here \\:D/
Wellcome to this great site if I missed ya in the Welcome wagon.
You should be very proud of your work and taking the time to enjoy building it:rock:

Thank you for sharing

Thanks guys.

Next task on the agenda is to remove the old three speed and bolt in the four speed, make the hump to fit, and bolt in that sucker.

Hey man, how are you coming with your swap? I'm just about done with mine and am need to make a handle for a Hurst shifter that looks like the Inland. Yours looks great.

Still haven't begun. I don't know when I will start, but I hope soon. I just got the 225 that's replacing the 170, and that needs some work as well. I want to drop the engine and tranny in all at once.

I'm most impressed that it would stand up on it's own. :toothy10:
