Hood and trunk lid interchange

I have a 71 dart and need a hood and a better trunk lid. Guy close to me says he has what I need. I looked and the deck lid is off a 73(has the big key cylinder), so i assume the hood is off a 73 also.
The deck lid is in good shape and has the spare tire sticker still on it with the part number for 73/74. Will the deck lid be ok? What about the hood? Tia.

you car will take a 70 or 71 hood, or a 72 hood if you also use the 72 hood hinges. Trunk lid from 1970 to 73?

I'm assuming the parts are for a '71 Swinger? Not a Demon. '70-2 Dart any body style hood will work. You may have to slot the hinge holes for more adjustment using a '72 hood on a '70-1 hinge. Trunk lid is '70-76 all Darts except for the Demon/Sport models, with the trunk lock being the only difference except for moldings/emblems. The Plymouth Scamps will work too, as well as the '74-6 Valiant 4drs.

I put a later deck lid on my '70 (big lock) and I swear the contour underneath the later lid is different where the trunk weatherstripping lip turns down as it gets really tight. I would check this before you paint anything.
