hood clearance with edelbrock air gap

I have a 1970 dart swinger 340. If I put an edelbrock air gap preformer intake with a holley carb on it with an 1969 unsilenced air cleaner will the hood close? Thanks.

on my '72 duster the biggest filter i can run is 3" tall and 10" diameter to fit between hood bracing, hope this helps

same thing I had on my 73 duster...hood closed everytime i shut it....

My '72 Scamp has an airgap with 14x3 air cleaner on an Edelbrock 600...no problems
