Hood hinge

Do I have these on right? Need to install my hood to make sure i got the hole cut right. I tried pushing them down and they dont budge. My 240lb *** cant budge them. So wonder if the hinges are bad or installed wrong.

looks correct, they are a ***** to fold down with no hood, with the hood on you get that leverage to fold em

Try sticking a 6ft pipe on the end...it,ll close.I wouldn,t try til you have both on and the hood as it looks to be on correct.

you guys are probably right. Thought maybe I had problem and figured going further wouldnt be fruitful
