Hood insulation pad for 63 Dart

Hey folks, I am looking for a hood insulation pad for my 63 Dart convertible. The last one came to pieces and is a total loss, I find this one on ebay that is $33 and free shipping, I also find some that are $60+.
Does anyone have any experience with this one or can make a suggestion on a replacement?

$33.00 is a good price. The 63 Dart is one of the highest price of Mopar because almost everything is not interchangeable with nothing.

Be aware that your original is likely made of asbestos fibers so do not inhale the fibers. Wear a mask and wetting it down with water while removing it might be a good idea.

It certainly acted like fiberglass and not asbestos..

Think about it from this standpoint, in 1963 asbestos was cheap and very widely used. It is lightweight and fireproof. It can be made in a very similar manner to fiberglass and visually they are very similar. I don't know for certain what it was made from originally, but I would take precautions just to be safe.

And there is medical concern over just plain fiberglass insulation and the risks from fiber insulations also, so even if it is "just" fiberglass you should still use precautions.
