Hood Insulation

I am going to remove the damaged original hood insulation from my 1965 Valiant. Does anyone know if it’s made from asbestos?

Fiberglass. Even so, I'd get it wet first and wear a dust mask. Save the metal clips in case you ever put another pad on.

Bought a new pad and had to buy those special clips, they are out there. New pad is like thin blanket insulation.

I took mine off, drop the clips in my brass ammo tubler with some walnut shell... cleans them up really good for repaint/re-install.. Where did you get your pad from?
