I got a problem with my driver's side, hood mounted turn signal.

It seems to work fine when the headlights are not on. However, when the headlights are on, that turn signal lights up and stays on with the headlights. When I turn on that signal, when the headlights are on, it gets dim and it makes a signal about every two seconds.

Any ideas?

This sounds like a grounding problem to me. It MAY be a grounding problem NOT with the indicator, but rather the main turn signal sockets.

Yep, first thing I would check is the front parking light/turnsignal socket on that side.
The 1157 bulbs have a separate filaments for the running lights, and the turn signals, but they share the ground connection, so if the bulb doesn't ground properly through the socket, it will try to feed through the other circuit and weird stuff happens.:???:
