Hood Pin Question

So what is the correct hood pin style for a 70 Dart Swinger, the "lay flat" or the "stand up" pins?

for a steel hood car, the one on the left with a flat pin. It also needs raised bezels with rubber gaskets (available from many sources). The flat bezels on the right were used on some cars that had lift off fiberglass hoods from the factory (Hemi A bodies, six pack A-12 cars - B-bodies), but I don't know what shape the pins were.

@str12-340 , thank you for that info, the set I just bought are the lay flat ones like you say are correct, I currently have the stand up ones. At least I know now that I have the correct ones, thanks again.

So are you saying the stand up ones are correct for my car, the picture on the right?
From more searching around, it looks like the standup pin was used for fiberglass hoods, whereas the lay down type was used for steel. Can anyone verify this?
