Is there somethign special about the hood scoop studs? Yearone wants $100 for a set

I'd take a close look at them and run down to the hardware store. You never know what you may find. If not just simply a stud that runs through the hood and finished with a washer/lock washer, nut/locking nylon nut combo.

Actually, did just pick up a couple from Ace Hardware that will work, although they are not Mopar correct. I don't know what they were called, but if you have one to take with you and match up.......

There's year ones link, I'm not worried about the correct coated date coded studs just something that works and looks ok, I dont have a stud as I am looking to buy a set of scoops that are stud-less.

Are there aftermarket scoops and bezels of decent quality?

Do you remember what they called the stud that you picked up at ACE?

I need some as well. I found a listing in the year one catalog for $5.70 each.
