Horn bushing. Horn set-up

When I put my steering wheel on, there was some sort of gaske/bushing that insulated the horn button....it fell apart... Now my horns honk when I turn the steering wheel. I had to unplug them. Can anyone tell me what the setup is for mounting the steering wheel, and what can I do to put in some sort of insulator, or whatever? Thanks!

Can you take post a picture of what came apart. If i can see what it is I think that I can help. I may even have the part you need.

I didn't keep it. It was a cradboardish, wafer type material that went either above or below the part than contacts to make the horn blow. I can't remember where it was actually located because it was somehow stuck to another part with grease.......
