I need someone to tell me where the insulation gasket goes inside the horn button assembly. When I changed my steering wheel the gasket fell apart, and then I couldn't find a gasket and can't remember how it goes back together.
The horn now honks when I turn the steering wheel. I had to unplug the horns.

I don't recall and horn gasket on any Mopar. Which year? model? factory wheel?

66 Barracuda.

It was about 2 to 3 inches in diameter. Sort of leathery with grease all over it. I think it seperated the metal parts until you push on the horn button.

A '66 Barracuda doesn't have a horn gasket. There is a plastic/metal contact assy. that mounts to the steering wheel with screws and plastic insulators. the horn ring or button then mounts to that depending on which type wheel your car has. Post a photo if you can and we'll see what you're missing.

Thanks, Mark
