Horn Ring removal

Embarrassing question.... How does the horn ring/button come off the '63 Dart 270 steering wheel?

Many cars you push streight in and twist counter clockwise. But I have no first hand knowledge for your particular car

Here is what it looks like:

Pop off the center cap with a small screwdriver and unscrew the horn ring. I would also disconnect the battery first.

thanks, we have the interior gutted and the column on the floor so I don't think that is an issue ;)
