Sorry if i didn't respond to anyone. We had some issues hear the kept me tied up. All in all i hope to gain an honest 100 hp and reduce weight by 120 lbs. So a solid .20 reduction in et, maybe .25 by the time i get it all sorted out. The biggest changes will be:
Front suspension had serious problems .worn steering causing left front to wobble.
Trans got a total rebuild. Had broken pressure plate in rear drum, slightly burned clutchs, metal on metal dragging at front clutch.
Ported 3X by Wilson.
572-13 cnc385 heads.
120 lb weight reduction.(3012 to 2892)
Slightly better/lighter rotating assembly.
DLC 205 WALL PINS.
.9 MM (.036) top and second rings(from .043)
12 inch vacuum?(was 3 or less)
2 1/8 to 2 1/4 step headers with merge collecters per pipemax and Cone engineering.
Rebuilt front shocks(no oil in left front shock last run).
Set ladderbars higher in rear, from bottom hole up two..
See if i can lower the car an inch or so,.
Limit front rise to 1 inch/ tighten shocks.
Transbrake launch rpm may stay at 4000 rpm, or rise if i need to hit the tires harder.
So thats it in a nutshell. Now if i can get my parts and get busy. Health has sapped my endurance badly. But i will do what i can.
